Ravenna Holiday Light Tour Contest: Official Rules & Guidelines
Eligibility & Categories
- Entry Fee: Free to enter.
- Authorization: The registrant must have full authorization to enter the display or property into the contest.
Display Guidelines
- Public Visibility: All displays must be fully visible from the road or a public viewing area; viewers should not need to enter private property to observe the display.
- Illumination Schedule: Displays must be fully set up, operational, and illuminated during the designated contest and voting periods.
- Content & Safety Standards: Displays must remain family-friendly and appropriate for a general community audience. Displays containing graphic violence, sexually explicit material, profanity, threats, or content promoting harassment or violence will be disqualified. The Chamber reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates contest rules or poses a safety hazard.
Voting & Winner Selection
- People’s Choice Voting: Winners in the residential category will be determined by public voting.
- Ballot Limits: Voting is limited to one ballot per person.
- Integrity of Votes: Any duplicate, fraudulent, or manipulated votes are subject to removal.
- Determining Winners: The entry with the highest number of verified votes in each category wins.
