The “Only in Ravenna” Scavenger Hunt is taking place Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year’s event will coincide with the City of Ravenna’s Community Picnic, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, giving participants even more reason to spend the day downtown.
The Scavenger Hunt is a fun, free way to explore the unique shops and businesses that make Downtown Ravenna special. With the Community Picnic bringing additional activities and energy to Downtown throughout the day, it’s the perfect opportunity to combine a day of celebration with a little hands-on discovery.
Visitors are encouraged to pick up a free Scavenger Hunt card, then head out to the businesses listed on it. At each stop, look for a clue or riddle hidden somewhere inside the store. Solve it, get your card punched, and move on to the next spot. Once your card is full, turn it in for a chance to win some great prizes.
The Scavenger Hunt spans the entire Downtown Ravenna, from Sycamore Street to Route 44, providing participants with a reason to explore every part of the city, including areas they may not have visited before.
Participants can expect to find a remarkable variety of businesses along the route, including antique shops, collectibles and sports memorabilia stores, a local bookstore, gaming centers, record shops, and some of the area’s favorite restaurants and eateries. Many participating businesses will also be offering special sales and promotions throughout the day, making it an ideal time to shop, browse, and discover something one-of-a-kind.
The “Only in Ravenna” 2026 Scavenger Hunt is free and open to everyone. No registration is required — simply show up, grab a card, and start exploring.
