Honorary Way Ceremony
It is an honor to recognize Bruce and Lucy Ribelin as the next Honorary Way recipient!
Bruce and Lucy Riblen are lifelong Ravenna residents. After college graduation, they both began working and living in Ravenna. While Bruce was busy teaching and coaching for Ravenna Schools, Lucy was a pharmacist working here in town.
Together they raised two children, Ben and Anne. In addition to teaching government and coaching football and track, Bruce served as a Ravenna City Councilman. Lucy spent long hours volunteering with the Heath Department and was instrumental in the merging of the local and county health departments.
Bruce and Lucy were eagerly involved in many community projects and selflessly volunteered their time with; The Friends of the Parks playground, the Ravenna Farmers Market, Raven Packs, Center of Hope, and many more. Together both Bruce and Lucy have donated countless hours and immeasurable effort towards the overall improvement and betterment of the community in which they chose to live.
Both are hopelessly devoted to the cause of giving back to the community that they feel has given them so much. Bruce and Lucy Riblen are a true example of an HONORARY WAY RECIPIENT!!!
