Lifetime Achievement An individual who is generally recognized as having made a significant contribution to the prosperity and the quality of life of the Ravenna area community. The individual is recognized as someone who has demonstrated over and beyond leadership and/or service in Ravenna over a period of several years. The individual should be seen as someone of high character and someone who would honorably represent the spirit of the award.

Volunteer of the Year An individual or group who goes above and beyond, exemplifying the true potential of how volunteers make a difference in the Ravenna area community in 2018.

Citizen of the Year An individual, who in the spirit of community service, demonstrates exceptional leadership and initiative in their efforts to support the betterment of the Ravenna area community in 2018.

New Construction Recognition for new construction of a building or public structure in the Ravenna area, completed in 2018.

New Renovation Recognition for interior or exterior renovation of a building or public structure in the Ravenna area, completed in 2018.

New Business in 2018 This is a NEW category for 2018. We believe that any and all businesses should be recognized and appreciated for making Ravenna their home for their new business. This award will recognize any NEW businesses opened in 2018.

Nominations may be submitted by any individual, group or business residing, working, or doing business in the Ravenna area community. In order to win the awards, the individual must meet the following criteria:
Resides or works in the Ravenna area community.
Has not won the award in the previous year.
Is not currently on the selection committee for this award.

For the month of April we are asking for everyone to bring canned chicken or tuna to donate to the "Raven Packs" program.
