SUMMARY:Octane Nights - Celebrate Portage
DESCRIPTION:Octane Nights which started out as a weekly Cruise In alternating between Mongoose Motorsports and A&W has now focused its attention on our 4th Annual Street Cruise In.  This year Mongoose Motorsports will no longer be hosting their by-weekly cruises as A&W will continue hosting their traditional cruise in every other Wednesday. \nThis year our Main Street Event will be held on Wednesday\, August 30\, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.  This is a rain or shine event.  In fact in 2016\, it rained 4 times that evening and we still had 860 cars and thousands of spectators who came and weathered the storm!! \nThis Ravenna event was originally established by Octane Nights as part of the Portage County Celebration Week.  The City of Ravenna agreed to host a car cruise allowing Main Street to be closed for 4 hours.  This event was intended to bring attention to the City of Ravenna’s local hometown businesses.  Because if its overwhelming success and growth from year to year the community has supported this as an annual event. \nThis is one event you will not want to miss!  It has been televised on local news networks along with the Cruise In television show.  We are honored to hold the title of Crusin’ Times Magazine #1 Downtown Event of 500+ cars!!  That is a title that we are very proud of !!  We wouldn’t hold this title if it weren’t for nearly 1\,000 classic cars\, race cars\, motorcycles\, tractors\, semis and trucks that attend our annual event. \nMake sure you “Like” Octane Nights on Facebook to stay connected with us.  We have an “Event Page” built in our Facebook page as well.  RSVP to that event and share it with all of your friends to see all of the show updates and photos.
